  • upload the images as featured images of the post be sure you are using comic to create your comic post otherwise it will end up a normal post.

I KNOW HOW TO POST A COMIC! I’m asking: How do I post one to a page other than the home page? Then, how do I post to multiple pages? I have 4 different comics. Each one needs to go to a SEPARATE page.

    landing pages…

Each comic is its own chapter, set the navigation to ‘in chapter only’ navigation, each comic post is a single comic page in that chapter(story) and the navigation will navigate via that story only when you have it set up

then, use landing pages as the ‘spot to link to, url base as the start page’ for the individual comic

if you’re using comicpress as your theme the tab in comic -> config automatically shows up for landing pages

Ok, apparently you’re going to have to spell this out for me. What do you mean by ‘spot to link to, url base as the start page’? I don’t understand this.

that would be /chapter/chapter-slug in your url, which will be the landing page for each individual comic

Oh. Ok, CLEARLY I’m not getting this. I set everything up the way you’ve told me and it still doesn’t work. The url ends up being comic/chapter/chapter slug. What am I doing wrong?

it would help if I had a link to see what you’re doing

I’m sorry, I’m sure you’re very busy but I’m still waiting for a response. I’ve been trying to get help with this for about 2 months now.

that’s your landing page for that story/chapter

Ok. So, how do I post it to that particular page? I tried to post another one and it did the same thing as before. I also don’t want the comic images showing up like a list on the landing page.

    Plugin Author Frumph

    (@frumph)

… that’s all configurable with the landing page tab in the comic -> config

and as I wrote, it’s /chapter/chapter-slug/ like sibling-assassins is the chapter slug for that chapter, whatever new chapter you post will have whatever slug that is

    Thread Starter z

    (@backwardsd)

Ok, then what do I need to do to configure it? Evidently, I didn’t do it correctly. When I go to landing pages in the config, I have the 1st, 3rd, and 4th box checked.

    You still stuck on this?

Kind of. I figured out a different strategy for 3 of the comics. So now I just have 1 comic that I need to post on a page different than the home page. The page has already been created, now I just need to post comics to that page only.
