Hi,I have a new website:Discount Motorcycle Helmet Center I did not create it. I can make new posts to other pages but not my home page. If I select catagories there is no option to post to the home page. I contacted my web master and his entire response was “change the catagory of the pages you want to post to on the home page”. I do not see any option to post to the “home page” in any of the catagories that are listed. If I make a post to any of the catagories listed they show on their respective pages but the home page does not change. I am completely new to all of this so your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks—Paul

  • Does your site use a static home page?

I hate to admit this but I do not know. I posted a banner earlier today and it posts to all pages, but that was not done through adding a post.

Does your theme have an options page?

Yes, it has themes, widgets, editor and add new themes.

In that case, it doesn’t have a theme options page (which would be additional to the pages you listed above).

It sounds as if your home page template file (index.php in your theme) uses a custom query that excludes certain categories from being displayed. In this situation, the only option is to edit that template file to adjust, or remove, the custom query.
