How to post with Publicize to Google pages?

    Hello!

    Today the new Publicize-plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/ has been presented but although sometimes the possibility to publish a post to a Google+ page I haven’t found this option. When I connect Jetpack with Google+ I am able only to select my personal profile.

    Did I miss something?

    Yes, I was also hoping that this update would make this happen. But I’m afraid it doesn’t…

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Try going to Settings > Sharing in your dashboard, and click on Add New next to the Google+ icon. You will be redirected to Google+, and if your Google account is listed as a manager of a Google+ Company page, you will be able to choose whether you want to connect to your personal profile or to a Company Page.

    I hope this clarifies things a bit.

    No, I won’t get the option to choose where to publish. But my Google+ account is an administrator for my Google+ page.

    Could it somehow be related to the fact that I am using Google Apps for your domain?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    I just tested it again, and I was presented with a choice between my profile and my Page immediately after clicking the “Add New” button here:

    I also use Google Apps instead of the standard Gmail, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

    Could you make sure that you’re a Manager on this Page? If so, you should be able to access a Management Page with a URL like this one:

    https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/YOUR_PAGE_ID/dashboard/canvas/managers

    @jermey Herve (sorry, for the delay):
    I’ve tried it again and now I am connected to my personal Google+ profile and to my Google+ page (and yes, I am a manager of this site, I could access it thru your URL with the correct page ID).

    I will try it again. Do you have your test Google+ page, so I can see how it should like?

    Hm. When I’ve selected the Google+ page I got this authorization window:

    There you cannot find any things about a page – it differs to the screenshot posted at https://jetpack.me/support/publicize/google/.

    Fascinating:
    Now it works. I’ve closed another tool to publish to my Google+ page (although I think that it shouldn’t be related to this issue), broke the connection between WordPress/Google+ and reconnected.

    And now it works. Great! ??
