I want “normal” logged-in users, subscribers, to NOT have Site Admin access. How do I accomplish this?

On my WP site logged-in users (subscribers) have a “Site Admin” link that takes them to the Dashboard which I definitely don’t want.

Immediately after login, the user is taken to the Dashboard which I think I can eliminate with Peter’s Login Redirect plugin. But I also want to eliminate the “Site Admin” link that takes the user to the Dashboard.

    Yes, its true.

choose the user, change Role to no role for this blog. he will have this message

” You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. “

OK, now go use one of those addons :
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/search.php?q=user+role+not+see+admin

you also can install addon from your domain without ftp, as its feature in wordpress

I just now installed WP Block Admin and it mostly works. When the user logs in, he/she stays on the main site and doesn’t go to the dashboard. The Site Admin link is still present but doesn’t do anything. I’d prefer that link not be visible, but I can live with the way it is.

I am glad it Solved, please mark it as Solved Now.

    thanks.
