How to prevent corrupt wp_options?

Hello,

I manage the site for the guys over at idesignyourlogo.com . Their site went down this morning. Upon going to the site, it would bring up the fresh word Press install page.

It took me an hour or so to figure out it was just a corrupt wp_options table and a simple PHPMyAdmin repair on that table fixed the problem up nicely.

Any recommendations on how to make sure this doesn’t happen again? I found a post that says a large number of records in this table would cause a crash. Our table only have a couple hundred records so that shouldn’t be the problem.

Any other ideas?
