    Hello!

I noticed that when syndicating an rss feed, not only one image is stored locally but the same image with different sizes, app 10 per pull.

    Fi. check the attached file:
    https://krantenbox.nl/images/same_images.png

Is there a solution, to prevent storing those same images?

    Kind Regards,
    Pieter

This is the answer to your question. When WordPress (not CyberSyn, but WordPress engine itself) generates a featured image, it always downloads the original picture to your host and makes as many thumbnails of different sizes as it’s specified by your WordPress theme. By default WordPress generates 3 different-sized versions of your image, but many themes may require 10 or more versions of the same picture to make them look nice in various screen resolutions.

The CyberSyn has no control over it, because it’s WordPress API. Check this out: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/themes/functionality/featured-images-post-thumbnails/
