1) When the side panel opens, the page moves about 5px to the right. This should be the thickness of the page scroll bar.

2) I would like to increase the size of the side panel so that when it opens, it is 50% wide.

1. We have checked it on our environment and do not see the problem as you mentioned, you can see our demo site https://authentic.new2new.com/home-5/shop/. The problem may be caused by the conflicts with other plugins on your site or your Theme. Please try activating only our plugin and WooCommerce to check it.

2. The option as you want with increasing the size of sidebar cart is impossible.

In the past, I made the same request for another sidebar plugin, and the author simply provided me with a css code to avoid this lag.

In this case, You can customize CSS code as you want. We have the option for you to add your custom CSS code.
