how to promote topical humor blog ?

  • Other than posting a notice in the “strut your stuff” section, what are the best ways to promote a brand-new humor blog?

    I think I have the basic technology sorted out, RSS and the like; and have sent notice to a small non-spam mailing list; and have claimed the blog at Technorati; but actually letting strangers know about the site is another thing.

    Any ideas?
