How to properly disable your Woocommerce design?
-
Hi ??
I’m using your theme on my site which contains an “e-store” part using Woocommerce. I am also using Elementor to customize most of my pages/articles/design.
My problem is that I couldn’t customize the Woocommerce pages (“single product page” and “products archive page”) with Elementor because Jane Lite was overwritting the custom design.. After web researches trying to solve the issue I decided to “neutralize” the “public_html/wp-content/themes/jane-lite/woocommerce” folder by editing its title to “wocommerce” (1 “o” deleted).
It solved the problem: from then, I was able to fully customize the woocommerce pages with Elementor. Great! BUT a new problem appeared : the products thumbnail images totally disappeared from 1) the “related products” part in “single product” pages, and from 2) the “products archive page”. They were displaying all well before I neutralized the Jane Lite “woocommerce” folder, but now they’re gone and nothing I tried made them appear again ?? I tried regenerating thumbnails, disabling pluggins, …
Also, thumbnails are showing on the Elementor building pages where I’m doing the customization, but not on my actual website. My questions are :
1) Did I do well when neutralizing the “public_html/wp-content/themes/jane-lite/woocommerce” folder? Is it the right way to get the “woocommerce pages” initial design and be able to customize it with elementor? & am I not breaking anything else other than the design (important woocommerce functions) when doing this?
2) Do you have any idea how to get these thumbnails back?
