I’m currently trying to finish building my site. The previous designer set up a static front page with a static slider with an attractive graphic. Below that are 3 Feature Page cameos linking to different services offered.

Problem is that I would like to promote most recent blog post on the front page where it would be visible, even as a small cameo with link to the Posts section. A JPG graphic plus headline from the latest post would be adequate, and I could change this regularly to reflect the most recent post. Then when someone opens the Home page, they’d see the latest post along with the static slider and Featured page cameos.

I can insert a graphic and some text onto the Front page, but it appears below the Featured pages and cannot be seen unless the user scrolls down. So there’s no way someone just opening the Home page could readily see that there’s new content on the site.

Is there any way to move up the graphic + text above the Featured page cameos so that it is visible as soon as the page is opened?

(My site is still in development and not available publicly.)

    Thanks

  • Hi there,
you might want to try the Nimble builder plugin which is suitable for this purpose.

    Hope this helps.

How can I find Nimble Builder to add it to my site? It does not show up as a choice under Add Plugins in my WordPress site.

I’ve updated the site and have searched under the Features, Recommended, and other plugin categories. Still cannot find it.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks
