How to put header image and reduce header height

Hi,
1. How can I put header image? I have seen this option in StoreFront theme but can’t seem to find the option to upload header image in Astra!
2. Is it possible to reduce this height as shown in screenshot below (the one shown in blue color). There is too much space so I want to reduce it.
3. Is it possible to show image slider like carousal!?
