how to put text around image

Hello I’m sorry if this is a very novice question but I’m not an expert with CSS or HTML. I basically want to put text to the right of an image on my home page. In the edit page section for front page I have added a picture, but I want text to appear to the right of this picture, however when I add text it appears at the very bottom and underneath the image on the next line. I don’t know how to make text appear next to the image… can anyone provide some simple code I can add to acheive this? Many thanks ahead of time for help
