I’ve noticed that Yoast SEO disables search in RSS feeds “for performance reasons”, but I need to re-enable that.

How do I do that, please?

    Hello @rfischmann

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin.

WordPress outputs your content in different formats across different URLs (like RSS feeds of your posts and categories). So, if you have disabled the formats you’re not actively using in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Advanced > Crawl Optimization > Disable unwanted content formats, you may experience what you have described. Please check the settings to fix the issue.

    Thank you, @maybellyne!

You’re right, disabling “Remove feeds from search results” did the trick. I thought that option only affected meta tags.

Doesn’t work for me. I had/have same problem with /feed/ redirecting. Checking with Kinsta gives Yoast redirect x-redirect. That shows whether Yoast is installed or not. I also tried dropping the Yoast tables in Php, and I still get the Yoast msg. I use Cloudflare and checked that. Also deleted the .htaccess and robots.txt just to shotgun
