• Hello,

    I have an email address that I use to test the plugin and Mailchimp connectivity.

    The email address is unsubscribed at the moment and when I try to re-subscribe it, the following error occurs.

    [email protected] has unsubscribed, and cannot be resubscribed by you. To prevent false spam complaints, they’ll need to resubscribe of their own free will.

    The above error is appearing on a post where a shortcode for a form is being used.

    The error does not seem relevant as I am simply using the user view of the post and hence replicating what a previously unsubscribed email owner would do to re-subscribe.

    How do I allow the previously unsubscribed email address to re-subscribe?

    Hello Bharat,

    This is a function of MailChimp and you need to address the issue with them. They put this in as a security measure I imagine and you have to see if there is a way to whitelist an email address for testing.

    We don’t have a way to circumvent this with our plugin.

    Hello Tracy,

    Thank you for your advice however I put the form embed code supplied in the MailChimp admin into an HTML file to re-subscribe the same email address, and that worked without contacting Mailchimp.

    It seems a bit odd that the Mailchimp form works but not the form output from the Easy Forms plugin.
