how to recover a deleted page

  • Hi there, I am new at wordpress and this forum. I accidentally deleted the homepage in the theme Colorway.
    How to reset a new one to rebuild or to recover the old one? I have tried uploading new index.html page, but nothing…..

  • Try reinstalling the theme but if it was a page you had entered data on, since that goes in and out of the database, the data will likely be gone.

    Tank you kmessinger, but it don’t work; I have changed the database in the wp-config file and restart building the site…. my luck it was only at the beginning
