• I used a WordPress.com account to connect my self-hosted site to Jetpack. Now it’s disconnected, and I need to reconnect, but it’s been so long I don’t remember the WordPress.com username or email address.

I went to Account Recovery, and there’s no way to recover username using that form. First of all, I don’t remember the _username_ which would be the URL they are asking. The reason I’m trying to recover my username is because I DON’T KNOW it, so how can I enter it if I don’t know it? I know the password and have access to the email address (I just have a lot of forwarders set up and don’t remember the exact email, but if WP sends me an email I would get it).

Second, they’re asking for 2-step auth, activation key or transaction ID – none of these apply to my case, I don’t have neither.

How do I recover my username? It’s important I reconnect to my Jetpack because it has 3 years of WP Stats data.
