• Hi

On our website (www.versterking.nl) on the page https://www.versterking.nl/gratis-e-boek/ we use your plugin to download an e-book. With the contact 7 form you fill in your name etc. and then click on ‘request’ (aanvragen). Then the download button appears to download the ebook (Klik hier voor je gratis e-boek). When people click on this button the file is downloaded, but we would like also to redirect to a ‘thank you for downloading page’. Is there an easy way to get this done?

    Regards

    John

  • No, there is no built-in or easy way to do that.

It wouldn’t be easy, but you could probably use some javascript on the page that looked for onclick events and then figured out if it was the download link that was clicked on and if so then change the page location to your thank you page. I don’t have an example of doing that (if your download file is PDF and the visitor’s browser is set to always display the PDF inside the browser window [rather than download it as a file/save box] then I’m not sure what would happen .. your javascript might mess up the PDF view or it might never execute or who knows)
