How to redirect /amp/ to ?amp

Post URLs should continue to end in /amp/. There shouldn’t be a redirect. It is pages or other hierarchical post types that get URLs ending in ?amp

After several test, I finally understand my issue. But, the 2 versions existent for Post Types. Thks for your answer.

Exemples :

https://www.gamehobbit.com/la-psp-vita-la-console-portable-next-gen-sortie-prevue-debut-2012/amp/
https://www.gamehobbit.com/la-psp-vita-la-console-portable-next-gen-sortie-prevue-debut-2012/?amp

Canonical URLS seems to limit the bad issue effect.

how did you fixed it. I’ve just the same problem here.

If you look at the non-AMP version of the page at https://www.gamehobbit.com/la-psp-vita-la-console-portable-next-gen-sortie-prevue-debut-2012/

You can see that the AMP version is advertised as https://www.gamehobbit.com/la-psp-vita-la-console-portable-next-gen-sortie-prevue-debut-2012/amp/

The version with ?amp shouldn’t be encountered by Google, but in case they are, both of them link back to a canonical URL of https://www.gamehobbit.com/la-psp-vita-la-console-portable-next-gen-sortie-prevue-debut-2012/ which then has the amphtml link mentioned above.

I don’t see the clear need to automatically redirect between ?amp and /amp/

so you mean it will work if the amp version only shows up with …./?amp

This is my example:

this works:
https://eintopfheimat.com/rezept/pulled-pork-recado-rojo-maistaco-mit-guacamole/?amp

this doesn’t:
https://eintopfheimat.com/rezept/pulled-pork-recado-rojo-maistaco-mit-guacamole/amp/

I didn’t really fix the issue for the moment.

But, in any case. If ?amp version would be indexed by Google, i’d make 301 to /amp/ version for posts only.

Other type of page (page for example) have ?amp version.

@toov2372 It looks like your rewrite rules may not have been flushed. To do so, just go to your Permalinks admin screen and re-save.

Had the same problem here.
Refreshing permalinks did the trick, FYI.
