How to reduce the height of the header without messing things up?

It doesn’t have a height explicitly set in CSS to begin with, so you can’t do it that way.

Can you create a Child Theme first? Or use a Custom CSS plugin?

There’s a min-height function I think. And I’m already using a child theme.

Looks like you reduced the height by explicitly setting a “height” of “150px” to the “<header>” – Is that what you’re referring to?

So can you remove that and instead apply a min height of zero on the anchor tag that wraps the headings.

Did that, no use.

Try adding a min-height of ‘0’ instead of ‘none’.
