Hello! What are the requirements for registering an account?
Second question: What is the difference between using a British company and a US company to register?
The third question: What other payment methods can customers choose?
What are your fees for this? Can customers contact the platform and skip me to get a refund directly?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there, @chengjianping! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

First of all, welcome to WooCommerce! We are happy to have you with us and would be thrilled to help you with WooPayments.

What are the requirements for registering an account?

    The requirements are:

You can check more about Woopayments here.

What is the difference between using a British company and a US company to register?

The difference would be the fees charged as they can change from country to country.

You can find more about this in this guide.

If you want to check the fees table here’s the one for the US and here for the UK.

What other payment methods can customers choose?

You can check the full list of the payment methods available here.

But they include, credit cards, Google and Apple pay, iDeal, Bancontact and more.

Can customers contact the platform and skip me to get a refund directly?

No, you need to issue the refund for the customer.

You can find more about this in this guide.

I hope this was clarifying. If you face any issues or have any questions, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Have a wonderful day!

If the goods I sent to the buyer are received, and if the refund is due to receipt or other inexplicable reasons, the platform will refund the goods only if I agree, right? If I don’t agree, won’t you interfere? is that so?

    Hi @chengjianping!

the platform will refund the goods only if I agree, right? If I don’t agree, won’t you interfere? is that so?

Correct. In most cases, the refund needs approval and processing by the admin first unless there is a chargeback or dispute.

In that case, the paid amount will be returned to the customer automatically by the bank until it is defined who is the winner of the dispute.

Check more about how disputes work here: https://woo.com/document/woopayments/fraud-and-disputes/managing-disputes/#how-they-work

    I hope this helps!

For a transaction dispute, if the logistics shows that it has been ten and a half months since the receipt, it says there is a shortage of goods or the clothes are damaged due to my own reasons. In this case, what evidence should I submit to the bank?

Also, if I want to pay a local bank in Japan, do I have to have a Japanese company? In addition to Japan, do other regional banks have country requirements for my company?

    Hello jianping cheng

    Thank you for your reply.

For a transaction dispute, if the logistics shows that it has been ten and a half months since the receipt, it says there is a shortage of goods or the clothes are damaged due to my own reasons. In this case, what evidence should I submit to the bank?

Usually, refund and return policies are limited by time.
For example, some stores offer refunds and returns for 14 days and some for 30 days. Ten and half months is a long time and I have never seen such a long time frame for a refund and return request.

Here is a helpful guide for returns and refunds on your online store.

Here is a plugin that can help you control refunds and returns:

Also, if I want to pay a local bank in Japan, do I have to have a Japanese company? In addition to Japan, do other regional banks have country requirements for my company?

Do you want to make a bank-to-bank transaction?
For accurate guidance, it would be best to contact your bank.
They will be better equipped to guide you on how to pay a local bank in Japan.

Let me know if you have more questions regarding WooCommerce.
I am here to help. ??

Hello, my terms and conditions for returns and refunds are 15 days. If I apply for a refund after 15 days due to shortage of goods or quality issues, then when I have a transaction dispute, I will provide proof of logistics and delivery product information. Is this okay?

    Hello jianping cheng

    Thank you for your reply.

May I ask which Payment Gateway do you plan to use on your website?
Since refunds are managed at a Payment Gateway, if you can specify a payment gateway, I will be able to provide accurate information.

For example, Stripe is a popular choice.
You can control everything at the Stripe portal.

I like your approach to researching everything before diving into the world of eCommerce.

I am here to guide you to the best of my knowledge. ??

    Best regards,

    Stripe and paypal these two

    Hi @chengjianping,

For Stripe, the first payout usually takes 7-10 days to process. After the first payout, your account switches to a rolling payout structure, meaning payouts typically arrive in your bank account 2 business days after a payment is made.

For PayPal, the funds from your sales are immediately available in your PayPal account. You can then either spend those funds directly from your PayPal account or withdraw them to your bank account. A withdrawal to a bank account is typically completed in 1 business day, but it may take longer depending on your bank’s clearing process.

Please note that these are typical timeframes and may vary depending on various factors. For more information, please contact us at Woo.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

After registering your account, will customers be able to use Apple Pay and Google Pay? Do I still need to register the corresponding account then?
