    Hello

How do I remove the ‘recent posts’, ‘ recent comments’, ‘archives’, links folder, meta folder, and pages folder?

    Thank you,
    Dora

  • Are you talking about sections in a sidebar? If so, go to Admin->Appearance->Widgets to get to the Widgets page. Open the sidebar by clicking on the little down arrow at the right of the title. Drag and drop the widgets back to the ‘Available Widgets’ box.

If this is not what you want, please explain a little more.

That could be widgets in your Appearance->Widgets screen so click on the little pulldown arrow next to each widget title and click on remove.

[edit see vtxyzzy got there first]

No, it is not a widget. It looks like WP displans “META, Archives, Categories”… etc. by default.

I think I found a class called “group” in the style.css that controls it.

I am guessing I just need to comment out that code?

WP does not add those by default, but maybe your theme does. If you are using a free theme, please post a link to your site so we can take a look.
