How to Remove a GA Plugin without Losing the GA Code?

  • Hi. I have a site with an old GA plugin called ‘Web Ninja Google Analytics’. I’m using the GA data but I want to delete the plugin. I don’t want to lose the code. Will I need to copy the code, delete the plugin and then re-add the code? Thanks in advance.

    The current WP version is 3.4.2 so it needs an urgent update, but not until the plugin is deleted first as that is also out of date. Thanks!
