    Hi Prateek,

    Thanks for reaching out.

To disable the auto ads in your header, please, navigate to Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense and enable the checkbox “Auto ads: Disable top anchor ad”.

Alternatively, you can disable anchor ads in the auto ads settings if your AdSense account.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi @schmidt25,

I have already disabled that option, you can check it with this link.

And I think that the problem is not with the anchor ad, as it does not disrupt while on a mobile device. I think the problem is with the AdSense verification code as just after I remove it from the header, the problem vanishes but soon after that, an error occurs at AdSense homepage stating something like EARNINGS AT RISK.

You can also check this link for what the issue is and this link for how it should look like.

    Thanks and regards

    Hi @sprateek818,

    Thanks for the clarification.

I agree with you, the header ad on your screenshot is no anchor ad. lease, navigate to your AdSense account and open the auto ads settings for your domain. You will see a preview of your website there with potential positions for your adverts that are detected by AdSense. You can deactivate this position there.

The “Earnings at risk” issue is caused by a missing ads.txt file. I can confirm that you have this file now and that it is accessible. There are multiple entries which are caused by the fact that Advanced Ads already inserts your AdSense information and you don’t need to put any extra code into the ads.txt field in Advanced Ads > Settings > General.

I hope this helps to resolve your issue.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi @schmidt25,
I don’t know why, but my AdSense is not showing any ad unit like that. I tried navigating to every page where this problem occurs, but that single ad unit is just not showing up, you can check it from this link.

Also, I have now removed and extra ads.txt from the section.

    Thanks and Regards

    Hi @sprateek818,

    Thanks for your reply.

Your ads.txt looks great now, well-done!

“I don’t know why, but my AdSense is not showing any ad unit like that. I tried navigating to every page where this problem occurs, but that single ad unit is just not showing up, you can check it from this link.”

I am not sure if I understand this issue correctly. In your first posts, you reported a header ad unit that should not be there. I tried to advise you on how to get rid of it. Now, you seem to miss this ad unit. What am I missing?

    Hey @schmidt25,
I am really sorry if I was not able to clarify myself. I was trying to say that I am seeing no option to remove the huge banner ad stuck inside my site header through AdSense. Adsense is not even showing that Ad banner. You can check this image.

    Thanks and Regards

    Hi @sprateek818,

Thanks for the clarification, and sorry that I did not understand that correctly in your previous post. You documented the issue very clearly.

I cannot explain why this position is not showing up in your auto ads settings. I also tried to disable the “optimize your existing ad units” option, but this did not change anything in the preview of my account.

You reported that you already navigated to affected sites without seeing this ad unit. Navigating through the preview screen would have been my next suggestion.

If the placement does not show up at all in your AdSense account, I recommend deactivating auto ads and injecting those ad units manually.

    Hi @schmidt25,
Thanks a lot for helping me out brother.

I think I may need to disable the auto ads until I can find a permanent solution.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi @sprateek818,

This sounds like a good plan. Please don’t hesitate to open a new thread when you have any trouble with the manually injected AdSense ads or need advice.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
