• I would like to have the header image right at the top of my blog so that it matches the rest of my website. I’m customising the new 2011 theme to do this. Can you please advise how I can remove the area above the header image (displaying the title, tag line and search box).

    Also if the search box can be re-introduced elsewhere on the page such as in the sidebar.

  • Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.

    For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.
