How to remove area on top of Header Image

Screenshots don’t let me use the browser inspection tools. When you can make it public, let me know.

Meantime, learn the Chrome Developer Tools to help you see and test changes to your CSS.

I just made it public so you can look but now I’m noticing it’s showing a different background color from what I see when I’m logged into the dashboard why is that? When I’m viewing it from the dashboard it shows gray which is what I want but when I’m not viewing it on the dashboard it’s showing white.

To add CSS: If you are using WordPress 4.7, use the “Custom CSS” option in the customizer. If your theme has a custom CSS option, use that to add the CSS shown above. If not, install the plugin Simple Custom CSS. Or, if you have Jetpack installed, enable its Custom CSS module.

Ok that worked for the header but why am I seeing different colors when I’m logged in and not logged in?

I don’t know. Ask the theme devs.

I figured it out I forgot to click something on one of the plugin settings that was my mistake and thanks again for the help with the header really appreciate it!
