how to remove author and date in single posts

Add this to your child css file:

.byline-date
 {display:none;}

 .byline-author
 {display:none;}

I was not far from this, but more complicate !!

I wanted to delete all of it, author, date, category and i somehow managed to remove just actual date, author and category not everything all together. I can`t seem to find that code mentioned above for the love of god ?? help would be much appreciated!
