how to remove blog from front page

    hi sorry ive tried loads of thing to try and remove the blog from front page any ideas please would be grateful thank you

  • Try this method. Go to settings>reading>Front page displays>Choose a static page.

    Or you can choose it from the Appearence> Customize section. Choose a custom page that you created for your website to be displayed as the homepage.

    In addition to WP Fan….

    1. Create a page that will be your front page, unless you made one already
    2. Create another page and name it something like Blog
    3. Go to Settings >> Reading >> and then…

    (a) From the front page dropdown, select the page that is to be the front page, like the one you made.

    (b) From the Posts Page dropdown, choose the page you made Blog

    Then click “Save Changes” button at the bottom.

    ive found it out myself now ha thank you very much was really easy
    just went to my pages- home page clicked quick edit and there was option to allow comments (it was ticked ) so i unticked it thank you again
