How to remove blog page from google search

When you search my website on google the very first link is to a blog page and the url description says “welcome to wordpress, this is your first post, edit or delete etc…”. The problem is I do not have a blog page and my homepage is set to a static page, I need to remove this link from the search. Any help is appreciated.
