• I am making my wordpress site as a CMS and I would like to make it so my permalinks do not have the category or subcategory in them. For example, I would like:

    https://www.integral-health-guide.com/mindful-eating/

Not like it currently is as shown below with the category added:

    https://www.integral-health-guide.com/nutrition/mindful-eating/

I have used the no category base plugin with no luck, tried top level directory, and currently have a custom permalink structure of /%pagename%/. None of these are working.

I have read that a lot of people have been working on this problem and wonder if anyone could offer me another suggestion for how to remove the category and subcategory. I know wordpress does not advise this, however, I still would like to do it.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

This should be easy. after creating subcategory, selecting both category and subcategory… see how it looks like. then just select subcategory. one of these gives you what you are looking for. Also see if you have selected a default category… that might mess it up.
