How to Remove Default Favicon

Upload your own favicon under CUSTOMIZE-> SITE IDENTITY

Hi @sterndata I dont want any favicon to show up. Is there any solution that it does not show up anything

Upload a blank for transparent image.

@sterndata Actually I was testing speed of this website on pingdom and according to them https://wallbedsnmoreaz.com/favicon.ico is taking lots of time to load. Thats why I was wondering how to to remove this thing. Regards, Amit

Your site takes 7 seconds to load (on my browser). The 245msec spent looking for the favicon file is kind of irrelevant. Are you using any caching (besides autoptimize)?

@sterndata Yes, thats what I am working on. Its very slow. On google speed test server response time is more than 4 seconds. No I have not used any other optimization plugin. I want to reduce server response time below 1 seconds. Any help in this regard would be great help.

I like the plugin “Comet Cache” as an easy to configure caching plugin, in addition to AutOptimize.
