How To Remove-Delete Block-Based Templates

    QUESTION: How do you remove or delete a newly created block-based template?

    When I look in the theme files, all I see are the default templates for that theme.
    Like in the Storefront theme after version WP 5.8 is installed and I add the code to activate the block-based template editor – which all work perfectly, I can then create and edit my new template.
    All good – BUT…
    What if I want to remove or delete that newly created template?
    How is this done?
    It may be that this is not possible since this whole block-based template thingy is new.
    But I wanted to ask just in case.
