How to remove entry title, byline and their banner

Defaults would be changed by using Customize.
Customize/site identity/site identity and remove your title and byline.
Customize/landing page/slider to replace the default image
or customize/site identity/header image

the entry title and the byline are on a rectangular banner below the menu.
They are still there. I want to remove them.

You would make changes in Customize/Landing Page/Slider to change the banner.
