Hello, in my system, I am the administrator, but for some reason it is showing an EOT for me. When I edit my user profile, the EOT field doesn’t display like it does for non-admin users. It also used to have a paid subscriber ID (why I have no idea) which I deleted. I am worried I am going to get locked out of my own system when the EOT date arrives. How do I prevent that from happening?

    Thanks for your help.

    Anne.

  • I’m not sure what is going on here, but what I’d do is simply create another administrator account and use that. If you are currently ID#1, it’s a good security precaution in any event.

Well, I don’t want to use another admin account because it’s a membership site and I have all kinds of posts associated with my account. But I’ll set up another admin account just so I don’t get locked out. If anyone knows how I can remove the EOT date, I would really appreciate it!

You should just be able to associate your posts with new new account if/when you delete your old one.

Otherwise I’d use the export feature to export the user list to a CSV, see what it looks like, amend if necessary, and then re-import, (following all the s2Member instructions, of course!)

Just thought I would put a note here for anyone else who has the same problem. I just created a new admin user just in case I got locked out of the system when the EOT arrived (thanks for the advice KTS915). But when the EOT arrived nothing happened. The EOT date just disappeared and I’m still there as the admin user. Weird …

I agree that is weird. It sounds like a plugin or theme conflict.
