• I personally love putting a hyphen before something like the author of a quote, makes it stand out really well without adding anything to fancy.

My only problem with this, is that it’s the length of two hyphens.

(top hyphen is the default, bottom hyphen is mine)

I can’t seem the find the code in “/inc/***.php” that would allow me to remove this, so I can replace it with a “-” before the author.

If someone could point me in the right direction that’d be great ??

    Cheers

I’d like to remove this altogether. Thanks.

I’ve solved this using the solution for hide Text nodes found here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15196630/hide-text-node-in-element-but-not-children

In this case making the .attribute collapse and then its child <cite> visible.

Hi guys, I’ve had a look at this site and was unable to edit the CSS file, so I ditched this plugin and moved across to Quote Master. A very similar plugin to this, only the quotes don’t randomly change without refreshing the page. But you can add your quotes into Huge IT Gallery, giving you the best of both worlds – rotating images and rotating quotes.

In Quote Master, you can also easily edit out the borders and ~ symbol before the author’s name; which is something I’ve not been able to achieve with Quote Collections. You may have also noticed that in Quote Collection there is a faint grey border line, which again, I was not able to edit out.

    Anyway, enjoy guys.
