How to remove image descriptions?

    I’ve noticed an annoying problem with adding images to posts/pages.

    And that is, I can’t remove the image description that appears when you hover your mouse over the image.

    Does anyone know how to remove it? Not a big deal, but would be nice to.

  • Those image descriptions (alt tags) are there for visually impaired viewers and are also nice for SEO. Including alt tags is also required when building compliant code, so WordPress automatically adds these.

    People expect to see those, so I think that removing them would be a bad idea. I would instead work on adding better descriptions so that it looks better.
