How to remove image file title overlaying thumbnails?

Hello,
I’d really appreciate your help as I’ve wasted too much time on this on my own, and I’m sure it’s something simple. I have the image file title displaying as an overlay on thumbnails, and can’t figure out how to remove it. Thanks.
