How to remove "Leave a reply"form from every page?

  • Hello,
    I am really, really new to WP.

    I am trying to understand why every page of my site (except the home page)has a “Leave a Reply” form, and what is the correct way to remove this? Thank you in advance, Buffmin2

  • If you want to turn off commenting site wide, there is an option under settings->discussion

    You can also do it page by page independent of the main setting by turning commenting off or on per page

    That would be done in the discussion box on the edit page screen, if the discussion box isn’t present, it can be turned on from the screen options tab
