• I added a couple of widgets to my sidebar and the headings turn into links for some reason. Before the headers were plain text, which is what I want. How can I turn these links back to regular text? It’s so frustrating!! I’ve been trying to find this in the code, but I can’t.
    Thanks!

Does this happen when you have the default theme? Have you recently installed any new plugins?

Hey Jose. Thanks for the reply. What is meant by default theme? The default wp theme? I’m currently using the mantra theme. I have installed some plugins but nothing that I noticed changed it.

Yes, the default WordPress theme. If it still happens it means it is an issue with the theme. Next you can try to deactivate all plugins if that problem still persists and activating one by one.

Hey Jose. I tried the above and the silly thing is still there. It’s weird because if I only have two widgets in one sidebar the link doesn’t show up in the header, but when I add multiple widgets that is when it shows up. I’m thinking it is probably a matter of finding it in the code and correcting it. I’m not exactly sure where to look though.

The more information the better like where are you placing the widgets? What widgets? Are you able to provide a link to the site?
