How to remove link off of Facebook shares?

    I currently use the publicize function (in the Publish drop-down menu) to share new posts onto Facebook.
    The posts get shared with a link to the website appearing in the description.
    Is there any way to remove the link? I couldn’t find any option.

    At this time, Publicize can’t be modified, but the folks behind Jetpack are working on customizations for this feature.

    Lol, so they found it necessary to make it so the permalink is placed onto the description of every single publicized post?

    Not exactly. Facebook has changed the way they collect and display data from the post on their end, so that will be fixed on the Jetpack end along with adding the customizations.
