How to remove or edit the featured image functionality on the custom community t

hi, i’m using the custom community theme.
1. how do i put an image or slide show on the featured image that comes as a default on the home page.
2. or how can i just delete it?

Look in the theme settings. Theres a whole page of settings devoted to it

featured images are set on a per post / page bases.
the slideshow can be controlled under theme settings / slideshow
the 3 last post images can be controlled under theme settings / general / default homepage “show last 3 posts”
