How to remove /page/2/ from home page?

Hi,

It is easy.
WordPress version 5+
? Go to the page editor.
? Click on ‘Permalink’
? Change the text under the URL box.
? Click on ‘Update’ button to save changes.

WordPress version older than 5
? Go to the page editor.
? Click on ‘Edit’ button under the ‘Permalink’ in just above the editor box.
? Change the text in the box
? Click on ‘Update’ to save the changes.

Hi Uzzal,

I already set static page like home page as front page and blog page as post page then after when i type https://www.domain.com/page/2/ or https://www.domain.com/page/3/ or https://www.domain.com/page/4/ etc it’s showing me same home page and i don’t this. When i type https://www.domain.com/page/page/2/ need to redirect on home page or showing me 404 page not found.

Please guide me to fix this issue…

Sometimes this occurs if the 404.php is unavailable or is not linked properly.

My suggestion →
? Check that your theme has the ‘404.php’ file and it is linked properly.
? Temporarily switch to a WordPress default theme and check the issue with your URLs.

If the answer does not help, I am unable to figure out the reason.

I already checked with default theme but in default theme we also face same issue so suggest me another solution for that…
