How to remove product and testimonial category sitemaps?

Upon checking your sitemap (https://galileosmirror.com/sitemap_index.xml), it looks like the product categories and testimonials aren’t generating the sub-sitemaps already. Were you already able to resolve the issue?

For a certain content type or taxonomy, you just have to check the settings in the Search Appearance section and set the option of the ‘show in search results’ from ‘yes’ to ‘no’ and it will add a ‘noindex’ tag to all of those content types, as well as remove it from the sitemap. I was able to turn off the category sitemaps. It seems they sometimes take a while to disappear, but they did.

We’re glad that the correct content types and taxonomies are now loading for your sitemaps. Sometimes it’s just a matter of customizing which content types or taxonomies you want to display or not.
