• If you just deactivate qtranslate you’ll encounter lots of problems. Your pages, posts and menus will require a lot of rebuilding.

    I just found a great way to remove qtranslate safely. There’s a plugin which does it.

    The plugin is designed to move you from qtranslate to WPML (a much better multi-language tool) but it will also work if you just want to revert your site to a single language.

    Follow the simple instructions on the plugin’s Description page. Perfect.

    Now I can move on to installing a whole bunch of other plugins which clashed with qtranslate. I can even update to WP 3.9.1 without losing access to my web site editing. Yay!
