How to Remove query strings from static resources

Hi.

I am optimizing my site’s speed and I got this error messagage when going to tools.pingdom.com:

Remove query strings from static resources

So I Googled the subject and found WP Super Cache has this in their plugin and some other posts were also found on the subject. But I did not read further. I installed a plugin for it but it made my site slower. So I wanted to hear if this is anything you plan to add in the near future. Thanks a lot ??
