How to remove recent posts from single post

    Hello

    In every archive post at the bottom, the last 3 recent posts are shown and I would like to remove them.

    I am currently using the green park them but I notice it does this on nearly every theme I have tried which leads me to think wordpress is inserting the recent posts rather than the theme?

    I have searched every php file in the template folder and can’t find the code to remove.

    Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    What do have in Settings/Readings/Blog pages show at most….?

    Hello

    It’s currently set at 100. I did just change it to 1 before replying and all it does is show 1 post when clicking a category, however when you select the post, the 3 recent posts are shown below the content as before.

    Deactivate all your plugins and check your Reading settings again. Check the categories your posts are in. And realize that Green Park theme is in Beta and is not finished and might not work right.

    Hello

    Whilst deleting all half a million (slight exaggeration) plug-ins, I was thinking there’s no way this will work.

    However, it did!!

    The strange thing is, as I re-activated one by one to find which plug-in was causing the problem, the recent posts have not reappeared! (which of course is good news for me)

    I am truly very grateful for your assistance.
