How to remove “Search”, “Archives”, “Categories” and “Blogroll from Product Page

If you want to control what widgets appear on what pages, the plugin “Widget Context” does an excellent job. Install and activate it and then go to appearance->widgets and select where widgets should and should not appear.

J installed that plugin and deactivated all the widgets J saw but they are still there, look:

What did you use for the settings for widget context for those widgets?

J clicked on “Hide Widget everywhere”…. on all widgets but they are still there…

If you don’t want the widgets at all, from appearance->widgets, drag them out of the sidebar.

J cannot remove the widgets…. J cannot drag them out….. they are fix somehow…

They should be removable. This may be a theme issue.
