How to remove shopping cart icon to my wordpress theme

    You can remove the cart by adding this to your stylesheet:


    .shopping_cart_outer {
    display: none;
    }

    See if your theme has a “Custom” css section and add it there.

    Okay I found the custom_css.php file which is the only custom style css file I see.

    I’m looking in the editor menu under appearance. Anywhere else I need to look?

    No, it would be under Theme Options. If there is no option, add a custom CSS plugin.

    I tried adding the suggested code to the CCS Custom on the Child Theme for the Canvas theme.

    Did not work. Shopping cart icon remains in the right side of the Primary Menu.
