Oh, and how to open all links in a new tab/window?

The option is selected in the Links section but all blogroll links are opening in the same window.

    Thanks.

Just re-reading the other support issue, the link to the “all” is supposed to go to a page you add called “Blog-Roll” and be otherwise hidden. However there is a bug with that piece of code and it will aways be displayed.

You should be able to hide it with a suitably selective piece of CSS.

With regards to opening external links in a separate window you’d be best getting a separate plugin to do that for you so that it can work with all links and not just the ones from this widget.

This one seems to do what you want.

No blog roll page – the widget (surely) removes the need for that.
Options for removing the “Show All Links” and opening links in new tab/window should be your next update then to fix the bug.

I’ll wait for that fix and if it doesn’t appear will hunt for another plugin to use instead. Thanks for replying.

I just found this plugin and I want to say it’s just what I was after. I’m hoping you’re still actively developing this because it’s got a great core in place and just a few small items would really make it shine, like a widget that works on a link category or categories instead of defaulting to all links. I would also love to see the option to open links in a new window (I just edited it myself for now), or at least have it respect the target option defined in WP Links for a given link.

    Hi Thor,
I have been neglecting this plugin a bit but it’s not abandoned.
Thanks for the input I’ll see if I can work that in.
    Cheers,
    Andy
