Never mind. I just found it. You have to go to Gallery Settings> NextGen Basic Thumbnails> and click “No” beside “Show Slideshow Link.”

@jhdelmar – Thanks for your follow-up response … we are always looking for improvements and it seems we may need to address the ease of access to these settings and make these options more obvious.

    hi All,

I just followed Jhdelmar’s steps but it keeps showing up above the gallery – are there any other settings that might impact this showing?

    Thanks

@simbiancemedia Usually setting “no” it’s enough, but you can try to set to “yes”, delete the text and re-set to “no”, then save and clear cache.

Hi @tizz, thanks for that and I’ve given it a go. Still there unfortunately. I tried also just changing the text to “click below” and it won’t actually change on the post, so just trying to figure out what I’ve got wrong in the set up.

@simbiancemedia Another thing you can try is setting to “no” in “basic slideshow” settings too.
If it doesn’t work, you should test with the basic troubleshooting.
As a last resort you can hidden that text with
    .slideshowlink {display: none;}

@simbiancemedia – If you added the gallery via the ATP you will also need to change that particular gallery’s Customization so that it does not show the Slideshow link as well.

You may also need to clear the image cache for this to take effect immediately under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous.

    Thanks!

PS: Thanks @tizz for the alternative ideas as well. C.

Oh my gosh, I forgot the ATP function.

Thanks jhdelmar – worked perfectly for me.

    Hi,

    nextgen version: Version 2.0.66.37
i try with all options/check-uncheck show slideshow link, and comenting that rows in script but nothing worked.

i needed to remove gallery from page. than uncheck “show slideshow link” option. and then add gallery to the page again.

    in short.
remove and add gallery from page.
