How to remove SKU

    I created sku to few of my products. My mistake i did it using name instead of product ID as I planned. How to remove SKU for old products?

    Is the also way for bulk delete and recreate SKUs?

    Hey @webhk!

    Thanks for the question. If you change the plugin settings to use the ID rather than the product name, on the next update it will generate a new SKU for you. In this case, you can use the bulk update option to update the products without making any changes, and this will cause those older products to be updated too!

    Hey @webhk,

    Sorry for not being clear! If you’ve switched the configuration for the SKU format already, you can use the bulk actions to update the product as you normally would, without making any changes. The plugin will always automatically calculate the SKU for any product which is created or updated while our plugin is active.

    So in this case, you can navigate to Products > All Products and select the products which require updating: https://cloud.skyver.ge/DOuAGQw9

    Without changing any data here, you can click the “Update” button to cause an update, which will trigger the plugin to re-write the SKU based on the current settings.
